Rubi Macias' intro blog into Paragon

Hi, welcome to my blog!

If you know me, that’s great. If you don’t, well, that’s great too! I am here to introduce to you a little bit about me.

I am a Life Coach at Paragon Consulting LLC. I primarily focus on self-care coaching and do general coaching too. Since I was a little girl, I always knew I wanted to help people. I had a traumatic childhood, and I always knew what I was living was not okay. I always envisioned myself helping others by teaching, guiding, or mentoring them because of my childhood experience.

Now you may be wondering, why life coaching? Well, I went to graduate school for social work. I studied mental health and substance abuse because of the stigma around it. When I dived deeper into its knowledge, I realized I did not want to focus on that long term. Although, I love all the knowledge that I gained from studying human behavior and how our minds function. After knowing I did not want that long term, I still wanted to help others, which I always have (that’s why I studied social work). When I researched life coaching, I figured out this was it. I have created my reality to this day, I will continue to create it, and I love to teach others how to improve their lives without feeling sorry for themselves for any of their past experiences. We all deserve to grow and create our reality, and sometimes we need a mentor, guidance, or an accountability partner. I can be all three! Through my few years of being here, I’ve gained a lot of wisdom. My wisdom comes from my experiences, what I've learned in college, and gained in the 2020 Paragon Life Coaching Training Program.

I’m also a Certified Reiki Healer. I don’t use this in my life coaching practice, but I like to share this information as it’s a huge part of me and who I am. With that being said, I am very fluid in my spiritual practices. I have a strong foundation with God and the Universe. With time, I’ve learned to create my life of peace and happiness. It took a lot of work, but I’m happy, healthy, alive, and actually grateful for my past. All the trauma gave me the wisdom I needed today. I’m happy with whatever/whoever comes or goes. I’m happy with where I’m at and where I’m going.

If you made it this far, thanks for reading! Stay tuned with more blogs coming your way to gain more knowledge, learn more about me, or whatever is on my mind when I post! Your friendly life coach, Rubi.
